Please note that as of November 30th, 2023, I will be out of network with JHHC (EHP and USFHP). As of December 31st, 2023, I will be out of network with Carefirst.

  • Being an out of network provider allows me to offer complete privacy for my clients. When a claim is submitted, a diagnosis is required for payment. Some individuals may not wish to have a diagnosis for personal or occupational reasons.

Insurance also will restrict the level of care I can provide. Being out of network will allow me the time that is needed. This means that initial sessions can last longer which is usually needed. We can also schedule longer sessions as needed rather than be forced to adhere to a strict 53-55 minute session.

  • The first appointment we will cover basic housekeeping procedures and policies. Then, a psychosocial assessment is completed; ending with treatment planning and goal setting.

  • I recommend that clients begin therapy with weekly sessions, then decrease to bi weekly, every 3 weeks, and monthly as progress is made. Sometimes client’s wish to begin biweekly due to finances.
