Melissa Mullineaux, EATING DISORDER THERAPIST IN MARYLAND

Are you ready to finally feel secure and confident in your own skin?

You remember a time when fearing food wasn’t the norm, but those days feel like a distant memory? Don’t you wish you had the tools to change that?

You’ve come to the right place.

I’m Melissa Mullineaux, and I help adults just like you: ones that have it within them to be healthy and thriving again, but just need the support to get there.

I help my clients find peace, confidence, and happiness by equipping them with the tools they need to reduce anxiety and fear with food and body image.

Many of today’s solutions for eating disorders are drawn out one-size-fits-all, leading many to feel like they’re not making any progress or dependent on their therapist. I know that your circumstances are unique, so every step we take is specifically tailored to you and always with an end goal in mind.

First, we examine past and current experiences that are causing poor body image and a fear of food. Then, we work on challenging negative thoughts to create behavioral changes that will be most effective for you. Through our work together, you’ll be equipped with the skills and confidence you need to feel free.

With lived in experience and 10 years of practice, I am dedicated in helping people reach a fulfilling life.

We’ll work on real, practical skills that you can apply to your day-to-day life.

My training in eating disorders and integrative mental health means I have the expertise you need and deserve when healing your relationship with food and your body. But at the end of the day, you want to know you’re working with someone who “gets” what it means to be a motivated individual with poor body confidence, right?

I get it because I have lived it myself. I know that obsessing over food is exhausting. So when we work together, you won’t just get a trained therapist. You’ll get someone who truly understands what you’re going through.
